It also gives decent bonuses if you kill players. honor gear at 340 base is shit, but wpvp gear can be like 370 even blue, with 385+ crafted pvp and very soon upgraded pvp gear.It's usually higher at the start of the xpac, but the majority of WoW focuses on PvE. As someone who only plays for random battlegrounds it sucks how no one seems to care about the mode. r/wow just does not give a shit about pvp. This subreddit only really cares about rated. I mean, random BG is literally a fun mode.New World PvP is very simple compared to WoW but there's still a commodity of skill to it as there is also dodging and animation cancellimg. WoW suffers from many buttons which can get quite confusing and the amount of addons you need to be on top of certain things like diminishing returns and cooldowns.

In a world where you have infinite time to master a class to perfection, I'd choose either Frost Mage or Subtlety Rogue. If you prefer to start stomping from the get go, bis Arms Warr or bis MM Hunter will grant you a lot of one-shot-fun with very little skill. 3.WoW Classic world pvp- dont @ me. I played horde, ally, big servers, smalls servers, loved it all- it's just so satisfying, and when you build rivalries and KoS lists- people fight for their lives in Winterspring like you wouldn't believe and you see all kinds of ingenuity, new situations, tables turn, etc.For ele theres a good amount you can play. You can easily test this by looking at your hp while in honor/conquest gear, slapping someone to start a pvp fight, and watching your health skyrocket. That being said, the play is to get 6 wpvp set pieces because the set bonuses are very strong in wpvp.
It’s upsetting but true that pvp is an afterthought. Most if not all of the testing for pvp is on the player, and pvp centric ui changes are also on the player/modders. It couldn’t be more clear where blizzard’s priorities are so it creates these occasional stale and unplayable pvp timelines which can last for weeks and sometimes months.

Guild wars 2 nails rated pvp, there is no gear score it's all skill based. Stats are equal across the board. Ff14 and several other mmos seem to understand this as well and it's more enjoyable to pvp. The casual crowd who enjoy pvp look elsewhere because they know they'll get smashed by full geared players and it's hard to blame them.
Dragonflight is a good world pvp xpac. Those 2 are fish and you pummeled them. I like it! Shot out to the author for covering the video with WotLK intro music! Korthia / Maldraxus is probably the most active . World pvp before SL is pretty much dead. If you end up ganking an alt, what's stopping them from coming on their lvl 60 main and camping all of you.
